In this original program, the illustrious dancer and choreographer recollects the creation of 20 seminal pieces (Disperse, Excess Idle Surplus, Re-Moves) that were key to minimalism in the ’60s and ’70s. Excerpts from the performances will be re-created by dancers from Twyla Tharp Dance, while never-before-seen photographs and films will lend additional context.
