The project Le Mura by Mario Bellini represents the manifesto of a radical design that went through all the Italian 70s: design was as an answer to questions not only of aesthetics, proportions or ergonomics, but also of social content. The result is a project of inexhaustible strength, that does not wear out after fifty years. The theme of modularity is central, and is already expressed by the name chosen for this sofa system: just as the large boulders that made up the imposing Roman walls, the seating elements come together in the design in a theoretically infinite process. New York, November 2022 An exhibition showcasing works developed by Duccio Maria Gambi, presenting the groundbreaking “Tempore” rugs designed for cc-tapis along with the iconic “Zuperfici” granite sculptures and the new “Incal” Calacatta marble creations. A visual journey through time which retraces the Tuscan artist’s multidisciplinary research into materiality. MERGE investigates the interaction between nature and art; the dynamic synergy of man-made objects confronted with the reappropriation of shape and form by nature. MERGE regenerates, distorts and creates a dialogue between Gambi’s Tempore rug collection designed for cc-tapis and his art. A conversation where time, matter and craftsmanship merge to dissolve into one.

Geometric sculptural vase in Sodalite marble, Simultanea Collection. Centripetal, centrifugal and movement forces are channeled into stone forms and rotation on the axis becomes a vase, while an inclined cut suggests a container. Like a mechanical and material symphony, the Simultanea family uses the basic principles of marble processing to transform it into an accord of hard and soft, shrill and deep signs that work by contrast translating into five objects.

Margarita Bronze, a tribal throne chair designed by Roberto Matta and produced by Dino Gavina for Paradisoterrestere. Roberto was one of the best-known painters in Santiago. Dino Gavina proposed a concept of ultramobile operation in 1971 to adapt the surrealist object to daily use. This work perfectly represents the concept of the Ultramobile operation. Trono was cast in bronze the first time to fix an idea: it is a petrol can, opened up like a daisy, a barrel turned into a tribal throne. Limited edition of 25 pieces, with engraved identification number and artist's signature. Each piece is followed by a Certificate of Authenticity.

In both its elongated vertical edition, and in the nightstand designed by Nanda Vigo but manufactured for the first time only now, the Storet reflects today’s advances in production, with the walnut’s visible grain illuminating Acerbis’s modern expertise in utilizing extensive wood surfaces. The furniture’s key element is the drawers’ moulding, and it is available in glossy lacquered black, white, SW white, linen, sand, clay, burgundy, pink, dark green, mustard yellow, brick red and navy blue.
