With work from the Aqua tower to a series of comparatively small but architecturally ambitious boathouses, Jeanne Gang and her firm have cemented their place in the Chicago skyline and in the pantheon of designers who have shaped the city.
Founded by MacArthur Fellow Jeanne Gang in 1997, Studio Gang is an architecture and urban design practice in Chicago and New York. The firm’s works range from the celebrated 82-story Aqua Tower in Chicago to smaller civic projects, such as the Arcus Center for Social Justice Leadership and the WMS Boathouse at Clark Park.
